Coming soon! :mused: milkmade Updates

:mused: milkmade breast v 1.30

We  wanted to let you know about some of the changes we were working on for the next milkmade update. Two of which are features I think are very exciting and I am sure many people will enjoy.

1 They will be compatible with lolas tangos shirt appliers! I know this is something that will be a big hit. It took us a while but we were finally able to make it work! With this coming update all :mused: products will be compatible with them. Full Breasts were made compatible in the latest update and the latest version of the Applier Adjustment HUD (v1.10) that is for sale in the shop for 1L$ is also compatible.

2 I can honestly say I am surprised this one did not leak sooner, we have added xcite! compatibility. This will not alter the function of the breasts if you do not own or are not wearing xcite! genitals or HUD but if you have them on using the breasts will alter arousal based on your preset kinks. You will be able to find more information about  it in the manual when the update goes out but it is our hope that this will make your use of the milkmade breasts more fluid and functional for your RP. We would like to make this work for as many systems as we can and will be looking to integrate more as time and work load allows, if you have a system you use that you would like to see work with milkmade let us know in the comments or via a suggestion ticket so we can know where to best invest that time.xcite image

New Milkshakes for milkmade

(In Case it was missed, This was a joke, keep an eye out for next years!)

Hey musers,

I am excited to tell you all about the new features that are coming to milkmade. Milkshakes! Direct from the source for those days when you really need to bring all the boys to the yard. So what would you need to do to make delicious homemade Milkshakes? All you would need to do is pick up a flavor cream of your choice and massage it in. For best effect work it slowly and carefully giving them Lots of attention. Our test group of boys in the yard seemed to prefer Milkshakes made this way, with lots of time spent working the cream into the nipples. Please note the Mint Chocolate Chip tingles a bit and this is normal. Then just wait, once your breasts are full of milk you will need to add the shake. Just about anything will work so long as it gives your breasts enough bump, bounce, wiggle and jiggle to shake up your milk, it was our experience that said boys in the yard were happy to help with this step. As Milkshakes are a frosty treat it is recommended you do the shaking with them as exposed as possible to make sure you get the right chilling. ^_-april fools new copy

We hope everyone is as excited for spring and the warmer weather as we are and :mused: wishes you a happy April Fools Day!!

Appliers part 1 Clothing

Hey musers,

We are going to be covering appliers, what they are, how they work and some basic of how to make them. While these posts will hopefully be helpful we can’t support third party work or aid in content creation.

An applier for prim or mesh breasts is an object that is scripted to work with the breasts to put or “apply” a texture to a particular part of the breasts. Different brands will use a different script set ups to make the applier work so not every applier is compatible with every brand of breast. :mused: breasts both full breasts and milkmade will work with the :mused: appliers that you can get in the developer kits for them, both kits are available in the in world shop. For clothing appliers they also support eCorp, Lolas, iboobs, eboobs, and foxbean. For today’s post we will focus on clothing appliers and  later we will look at skin appliers.

If you have clothing with appliers that you would like to use what you will need to do is set the appropriate layer visible via the breast menu and then wear or rez the applier. Some makers will have you wear the applier and it will auto apply but if that does not work you can rez the applier and click it. If you have just worn a copy of the breasts then it might take a moment for the scripts to start up before the applier can talk to them and pass the texture to be applied. If you want to use the :mused: Applier Adjustment HUD then you should wear it before using the applier so the applier can pass the texture data to both the breasts and the HUD.

Clothing appliers can use two different types of textures. One is just the area of the clothing that would be covering the breasts, like this:Valentine

This gives a much better look as the whole or most of the texture is shown so there is less pixelation or distortion.

The other way to make an applier texture is to use the base shirt texture, like this:valentine shirt

The benefit to this is that you do not need to make a separate texture for the applier. This however does have the down side of only using a very small portion of the texture and resulting in it looking stretched out, fuzzy or pixelated for some textures and will require more work to set up.

To create an applier with your texture you will need to rez a copy of the applier that you got in the developer kit and open the script inside that is called _config_5d. You will see something that looks like this:

Clothing applier UUID

To put your texture into it right click the texture and select “Copy Asset UUID” from the menu. And then paste that UUID into the section of the script that sets the shirt texture it will look something like this “6c0253e0-4d81-78d5-332d-a87a5641df51” and save the script.

If you are using the first type of applier texture that might be all you need to do. If not then you will need to use the applier you have created to apply it to the breasts (and applier adjustment HUD) you can edit the positioning from there with the edit tools directly or with the Applier Adjustment HUD. Once you have gotten the texture positioned the way you want it you will need to take the numbers for color, repeats, offset and rotation. In most cases the color and rotation will be unchanged.Clothing applier texture

In the edit window you will see Repeats per face Horizontal (U) and Vertical (V) the same for texture offset. These are put into the script as a three number set the third will always be 0.000000 where the first is your horizontal or U and the second is your vertical or V.

If you were using the :mused: Applier Adjustment HUD you can have it “show settings in chat history” and get your numbers from there.

After you have saved the script with the updated positioning for the texture use the applier again to be sure that everything looks right and if not make any changed you need to make in the same way. Once you are satisfied with the placement of the texture change the name of the applier object so you will know what outfit it is for and take it back into your inventory.

If you are using the applier to tint the texture you will need to convert the RGB numbers into RGB vector format this can be done by dividing the RGB number by 255 so that a purple which is 156, 91, 196 would be 0.61, 0.36, 0.77.  With white being 1.0, 1.0, 1.0 and black being 0.0, 0.0, 0.0.

Rotation is in radians rather than degrees and so it can’t be taken direct from the edit widow output. I would highly recommend using the Applier Adjustment HUD to get this number. Or you can do a google conversion search of degrees to radians.

In the next part of this series we will discuss skin appliers.

milkmade ranks

Hey musers,

So some of the questions I have been seeing with the announcement of the changes to the way milkmade gen is calculated made me think that maybe the creators’ thought process on what the stats mean and how the ranks should work should be spelled out. Now its not our intention to tell anyone how they should use the system or play the game. Its still totally up to you what you want to do with it and how you want to enjoy it but this is a little of what we are thinking. This of course is all subject to change as we see how these work out in practice, just like we changed the way servants calculated for generation points, or added persistence as a stat.

MoT (milk over time)

This is a producer stat and the main area for producers to complete. It was also the first stat to have any bonus associated with it. Rising in this stat gives you access to new appearance features and increases your lactation rate.

Lifetime Milk Intake and Persistence

This is a drinker stat and one way for drinkers to compete. Originally we only had Lifetime Milk Intake but then found that did not really accurately reflect current active players so we added Persistence as well. At current there is no bonus associated with these stats.

Storage or Milk Assets

The amount of milk stored is a more general stat that anyone can compete in if they want to, however it does come at a time and linden cost and has the risk of being spoiled if the owner of the tanks does not continue to be active in the game.

Generations

We knew there was a desire for the system to have a master servant component, but we wanted this to be incorporated into the game not just an after thought to accommodate peoples rp styles. It is certainly not needed but if people did want to play with this relationship we wanted there to be away for it to be part of the game. So we made Generation as a way to rank masters. This number considers storage, an investment and a risk, servants, and the players own activeness in the game, persistence. We recognized that those that did well with this would probably be working with a large number of servants and we understand the work that goes in the managing a successful group. So we added generation bonuses. This bonus does two things, it makes the top gen’s milk a little more desirable and gives an incentive to sell milk which impacts the storage stats giving more room for competition.

Again anyone can play with the game how they choose to we are not saying anyone needs to focus on a stat or any stat but this is just the thinking that has gone into the way we manage the stats and any bonus we may add in the future related to them.
